Supporting the Henry Jennings Scholarship through Prize Donations

Friends of Henry’s Long Lunch are invited to support this year’s event by contributing prizes, experiences, services or raffle items to help continue the legacy of Henry Jennings.
The Henry Jennings Scholarship was established by Henry’s parents, Alison and Peter Jennings, together with Henry’s many friends, to honour the remarkable young man whose impact continues to be felt throughout the King’s College community.
The Henry Jennings Scholarship is awarded annually to a third-year resident of King’s College who demonstrates the qualities Henry held dear:
- Loyalty and trustworthiness
- Positivity and the ability to unite others
- Natural and humble leadership
- Compassion and inclusion
- Sportsmanship and fair play
The scholarship provides $5,000 to a deserving student and serves as a lasting tribute to Henry’s character, values and the meaningful contribution he made to those around him.

Over the years, the generosity of Henry’s Long Lunch attendees and supporters has played a vital role in the success of the event. Donations of auction items, raffle prizes, experiences, accommodation packages, sporting memorabilia and unique offerings have helped raise significant funds to support the scholarship and ensure Henry’s legacy continues to inspire future Collegians.
The Henry Jennings Committee would be incredibly grateful for any prize or experience donations for this year’s Henry’s Long Lunch. Every contribution, regardless of size, helps support students who embody the spirit and values that made Henry so special.
