Position available – Associate Director of Academic and Career Services

Founded in 1912, King’s College is a Residential College for women and men within The University of Queensland. The College is home to 330 undergraduate and postgraduate students and 50 Associate Members. King’s has some of the best facilities of any College in Australia and is highly regarded for many of the programs conducted including its extensive Tutorial program, Careers and Leadership program and for the global opportunities provided to its students – study abroad, the Hong Kong Rugby 10s and the Henley Royal Regatta in the UK.

To meet the remarkable growth of the College’s academic and careers programs, a newly created role, Associate Director of Academic and Career Services will assist the Director of Academic and Career Services in the daily operation of the Learning Centre, management of the academic staff and by providing high level advisory support to students. In addition the Associate Director will take a lead role in careers and professional development-related projects, including the implementation of a comprehensive mentorship program and systems for promotion of employment opportunities.
