King’s on the Road Meeting Prospective Women and Men for 2020

Master of King’s College – Greg Eddy

King’s College is taking to the road for its annual tour of high schools, triggering the start of the official enrolment period for 2020.

The Deputy Master, Peter Walker, and I will be showcasing King’s College facilities and programs to Year 11 and 12 students across Queensland, from Cairns to the Gold Coast and inland to Goondiwindi and beyond.

This will be the first time that girls’ schools are included in the school visits, following the College Council’s decision earlier this year for a move to co-residency from 2020.
The Deputy Master and I look forward to presenting the vibrant, inspiring community of King’s College, along with its academic, sporting and cultural programs, to all potential students.

We will also enjoy the chance to catch up with Old Collegians and friends of King’s College as we make our way through regional Queensland.
I am also preparing for the annual King’s ‘At Home’ tour, a yearly tradition that sees me travel to different interstate and overseas destinations to host functions for Old Collegians, parents of current Collegians and friends of the College.

This year, I will be hosting families and friends across regional Queensland, Western Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, Singapore and London.

Finally, the College is also preparing to host the annual King’s College Schools’ Dinner and this year, for the first time, we are pleased to extend the invitation to enable potential students to see the College first-hand and to see its community in action.

Both the Deputy Master and I are very much looking forward to catching up with Old Collegians during our upcoming travels, as well as meeting new families interested in becoming part of the King’s community.

If you would like to find out more information about any of the upcoming events, please email me or Peter Walker directly on g.eddy@kings.uq.edu.au or p.walker@kings.uq.edu.au
