Every student lives in a single room, which comes fully furnished with the essentials: a long single bed (minimum), desk, desk lamp, wireless internet connection, wardrobe, and bookcase. Make your room feel like home by bringing your own bed linen, TV, a small fridge and computer – the electricity is free!
It goes without saying that your room is an important part of your life, but you will find that your flat and bathroom are significant meeting places. Getting to know your flat is a unique aspect of College life. Students will often recount that their favourite memories are those when residents opened up their rooms and congregated in the corridors for informal gatherings, laughter and entertainment. It’s often during these times that you develop powerful friendships and life-long memories.
